Internal linking tool: find every broken link and orphan page

Kaku crawls your site and maps how every page links to every other one: an internal link checker that also fixes what it finds.

Broken links — found and fixed, internal and outbound.

Orphan pages — pages nothing on your site points at.

Internal link suggestions — proposed in context, both ways.

The gap

A page nothing links to is a page nobody finds

Internal linking is one of the few SEO levers fully in your hands: links are how Google works out which of your pages matter and how they relate. A post with no incoming links sits alone: it gets crawled late, ranks below pages that say less, and never passes anything to the rest of your site.

Incoming links, page by page

Under 5 incoming links, Kaku marks a page weak. At zero, it's an orphan.

Crawl first, decide second

1

Run the crawl

Kaku walks your site and builds the map, like an internal link mapping tool: pages, links between them, and what returns an error.

2

Fix what’s broken

Broken links are grouped by URL. Replace, remove or ignore — the change is applied everywhere that link appears.

3

Ask for suggestions

Pick the pages that need help, orphans first, and the internal linking suggestions tool runs them in one go.

4

Accept or dismiss

Each suggestion shows the sentence it lives in. Accepted ones are written into the post; the rest disappear.

Two kinds of suggestion

An internal linking tool for your whole website

Like a good internal link building tool, Kaku proposes links in both directions: from your existing posts into the page you're working on, and from that page out to the rest of the site. Each one arrives with the sentence it would live in.

It also rewrites anchors you already have. "Click here" and "read more" tell Google nothing about the page behind them; Kaku shows the current text, the proposed text, and why.

Reason: the current anchor is generic and says nothing about the target page.

FAQs about the internal linking tool

Does it change my site while crawling?

No. The crawl only reads. Nothing is written to WordPress until you accept a suggestion or apply a broken-link fix, and both are actions you take.

What happens when I fix a broken link?

Broken links are grouped by target URL, not by page. If a dead link appears on six posts, you replace it once and Kaku updates all six. You can also remove the link and keep the text, or mark it ignored if it is meant to be there.

What counts as an orphan page?

A page with zero incoming internal links. Kaku's orphan pages checker also flags weak pages — those with fewer than 5 incoming links — because they are the ones a couple of good links would help most.

Will it fill my posts with links?

No. It's AI internal linking, not automatic internal linking: it proposes and you decide. Every suggestion arrives with the sentence it would sit in, and you accept or dismiss them one at a time. Nothing is inserted in bulk without you looking at it.

Does it touch external links?

It checks them for errors, so a dead outbound link shows up in the Broken tab and you can fix it. Suggestions are internal only — Kaku never adds links to other people’s sites.

Is it also a broken link checker for WordPress?

Yes. The crawl checks every internal and outbound link, and dead ones are grouped by URL, so you fix each one once and Kaku updates every post where it appears. No separate broken link checker WordPress plugin needed.

What should the best internal linking plugin for WordPress do?

Know your whole site before it suggests anything: find orphan and weak pages first, propose links in context instead of stuffing them in, and let you check each one before it goes live. That's how Kaku's internal linking tool works.

How does the internal linking suggestions tool choose its links?

It reads your pages and looks for places where one already talks about another. Each suggestion comes with the sentence it would sit in and works in both directions: links into the page you're improving, and links out of it to the rest of your site. It also proposes better anchors for generic ones like “click here”.
