Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 13, 2026 · Version 2.2

This policy explains which personal data we process when you visit the website kaku-app.site or write to us from it. If you use the Kaku application, the data of your account, your payments and your sites is governed by the Privacy Policy of the application, which is the one you accept when you sign up.

2. What data we process on this site and why

When you write to us

If you use the contact form or send us an email, we process your name, your email address, your phone number if you provide it, and the content of your message, solely to reply to you. The legal basis is your own request (art. 6.1.b GDPR, when you ask about the service) or our legitimate interest in answering those who write to us (art. 6.1.f). We keep messages while the conversation lasts and for no more than twelve months afterwards.

When you browse

Like any website, our server records technical data about each visit (IP address, browser, page and date) in order to serve and protect the site, on the basis of our legitimate interest (art. 6.1.f). Only if you accept, we measure use of the site with Google Analytics and record with Microsoft Clarity how each page is used (pointer movements, clicks and scrolling; never what you type into a form) and, if you also accept marketing cookies, we show you Kaku ads on other websites; in every case the basis is your consent (art. 6.1.a), which you can withdraw at any time. The details are in the Cookie Policy.

When you arrive from an ad

If you reach this site from one of our ads and sign up, we pass the name of that campaign, which does not identify you, to the application. We only keep the identifier of the ad click during your visit, and only pass it to the application, if you have accepted marketing cookies; it lets us know which ad brought each sign-up.

We do not sell your data or use it to make automated decisions with legal effects on you.

3. Who else has access to your data

  • Hostinger, UAB (Lithuania): hosts this site and the messages you send us through the form.
  • Google Ireland Limited (Ireland): measurement and advertising, only if you accept them.
  • Microsoft Corporation (United States): recording and analysis of how the site is used, with Microsoft Clarity, only if you accept analytics cookies. Microsoft also uses that data for its own purposes, such as improving its products.
  • Bunny Fonts (BunnyWay d.o.o., Slovenia): serves the site's typeface; when your browser downloads it, it sees your IP address.

Except as noted for Microsoft, they act on our behalf and only to provide us with their service. Beyond that, we only disclose data when the law requires it.

4. International transfers

Hostinger and Bunny Fonts process data in the European Union. Google LLC, Microsoft Corporation and Cloudflare, Inc., which protects Hostinger's forms service, are in the United States and are certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

5. Google user data

Kaku connects to Google services only when you explicitly authorize it, and only to the extent described in this section.

What we access. If you connect Google Search Console, we request a single read-only permission (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/webmasters.readonly). We use it to call two endpoints: the list of Search Console properties your Google account can access, and the aggregated search-performance report for the property you map to a site — queries, pages, clicks, impressions, click-through rate and average position. We never request write access, so Kaku cannot modify, add or delete anything in your Search Console account.

If you sign in with Google, we receive your Google account identifier, name, email address and profile picture, and use them solely to create and authenticate your Kaku account. Signing in with Google grants no access to Search Console: that is a separate authorization you give, and can withdraw, independently.

How we use it. Search Console data is used exclusively to produce the analyses shown in your own dashboard: the performance overview, keyword cannibalization detection, the Opportunity Finder and the CTR Optimizer. We also use the property list to match each WordPress site you connect with its corresponding Search Console property. When you launch an action from one of those screens, such as refreshing a page's content or regenerating its meta tags, Kaku sends only the identifier of the page you selected. Your Search Console data is never sent to our AI providers, and it plays no part in generating content.

How we store it. Your Google access and refresh tokens are encrypted at rest and are never included in any interface or API response. Search Console responses are held in a temporary server-side cache for up to one hour, so that reloading a screen does not repeat the request, and are discarded when it expires: we do not store your Search Console metrics in our database. What we do keep is the email address of the connected Google account, the permissions you granted, and the identifier of the property mapped to each of your sites.

How we share it. We do not sell, rent or trade data obtained from Google APIs, and we do not transfer it to third parties, including the AI and SEO data providers behind our other features. It is accessible only to the account that authorized the connection, and to the members of our team who need it to operate and support the Service.

How to revoke it. You can disconnect Google at any time from Settings → Integrations in Kaku, which deletes the stored tokens immediately and discards any cached data. You can also revoke access directly from your Google account at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Deleting your Kaku account removes the tokens and the property mappings along with it.

Limited Use. Kaku's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

6. Your rights

You can ask us for access to your data, to correct or delete it, object to its processing, ask us to restrict it or to hand your data over in a portable format, and withdraw at any time any consent you have given. Write to us at hello@kaku-app.site and we will reply within one month. If you believe we have not handled your request properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).

7. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. No system is completely secure; if an incident affecting you occurs, we will notify you where the law requires it.

8. Children

This site is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect legal changes or changes to the site. The version in force is the one published on this page, with its date.

10. Contact
